The Historic Steam Train
Experience the authentic rail journey at the pace of a real steam locomotive! Pulling historic carriages (some from the Austrian railways), this legendary train sets off on the rails in a plume of smoke and to the sound of a period whistle.
The Restaurant Train «Great Express Carriages»
For a special lunch or dinner, treat yourself to a gourmet meal while travelling. You will take your seats aboard the legendary dining cars of the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (the same ones as the Orient Express!), decorated with precious woodwork and marquetry. A memorable culinary and historical experience, lulled by the rhythm of the train.
The Picasso Railcar
For lovers of the unusual, the association also runs the famous «Picasso» railcar from the 1950s, instantly recognisable thanks to its raised and off-centre driving cab. A true symbol of French railway heritage from the 'Trente Glorieuses' (Thirty Glorious Years).
