Formed in 1996, the body of water communal located within The campsite is a preserved site, exclusively reserved for fishing. Managed with passion by the local association La Gaule du Jaunay, This 1.5-hectare pond offers a varied stock and good fish densities.

The banks of the River Jaunay
Fish in the wild waters along the Jaunay river that borders our territory. Access to these natural banks is exclusively reserved for holders of the federal fishing permit.

The Grand Lac du Jaunay (just 7 km from the campsite)
A true gem of Vendée Nature, the Jaunay lake dam forms an immense reservoir of drinking water 114 hectares stretching over 8 kilometres in length. It is an essential and renowned spot throughout the region for the quality of its waters and its large specimens.
Gorand Ford Lake
A 30-hectare fishing lake highly regarded by local anglers for its accessibility and fish population.
In a tranquil setting, the charming Gué Gorand Lake is perfect for a lovely walk along the water's edge. Its well-maintained footpath allows you to circumnavigate the reservoir by crossing the dam. It will introduce you to numerous tree species and diverse wildlife: wild rabbits, green lizards, dragonflies, coypus, herons, and black-headed gulls.
Anglers can try to catch perch, zander, and black bass. Recommended fishing types: float fishing, predator fishing, carp fishing, fixed and roving.

Once on site, two car parks (20 spaces 80 metres from the bank and 10 spaces 25 metres from the bank) are available to you on each side of the bridge.
The site is also equipped with tables, bins, benches, cycle paths and footpaths around the lake.
Swimming, boating and hunting are prohibited on the site.
Lake Apremont
Lac d’Apremont is a public lake of 170 hectares located in Vendée.
An exceptional site, Lac d’Apremont is undoubtedly one of the premier fishing spots in the department. Whether by boat, float tube, or from the banks, you are sure to experience fantastic fishing moments right in the heart of nature. Numerous fishing techniques are practiced on the lake given its plentiful fish stock, its size, and the diversity of fishing locations.
According to local fishermen, there are excellent spots for predator fishing near the ruins of the old mill, in front of the boat slipway. They say underground tunnels might even still exist.
You can practise lure fishing by following the path for several hundred metres towards the bridge.
Here you can enjoy a family picnic, followed by a walk around the lake.
Anglers, please remember that the fishing permit is personal and mandatory for all persons engaged in fishing.
